Take the assessment and you'll know exactly where to start
Your archetype points you to the lessons in the book written for your type, so the Code lands the moment you open it.
More Than a Book
You're not buying a read.
You're stepping into an experience.
Most leadership books end on the last page. This one keeps going.
Inside Nature's Leadership Code you'll find more than 24 lessons. You'll find your leadership archetype through the assessment built into the framework. You'll find behind-the-scenes field footage from the treks where these lessons were witnessed. You'll find bonus material and downloads that turn a single read into an ongoing practice you come back to.
This is the difference between learning a leadership idea once and living it. The assessment shows you your archetype. The book shows you how far the Code goes.
"In the wild, survival isn't accidental. It's coded. Every animal knows its purpose, observes its environment, acts decisively, and empowers the pack. That's the CODE. The question is, do you know yours?"

Where These Lessons Were Born
This book was shaped in the wild. Nearly a decade of it.
For nearly a decade, I've led executive leadership expeditions through Uganda and Rwanda, working with senior leaders from Fortune 500 companies, public service, and faith communities.
These weren't sightseeing trips. We tracked silverbacks on foot through the forest. We sat with elephant herds at the water. We watched how power actually moves when there's no title to hide behind and no meeting to schedule.
We don't watch animals because they're cute. We watch them because they got leadership right millennia before MBAs existed.
When a silverback decides, he doesn't second-guess.
Every lesson in this book was witnessed in the field before it was written on the page. These aren't theories I read. They're patterns I stood in front of, and then translated for the boardroom.
These are the lessons leaders need RIGHT NOW. Not someday. Not in the next leadership book. Now.
Start by finding your archetype. The rest of the Code opens from there.
A Moment From the Trek
On one trek, I noticed our ranger never cut his own trail. He walked the paths already carved by elephants and buffalo. Generations of the heaviest, wisest animals had found the safest way through the forest, and he simply followed.
The lesson landed before we reached the clearing. The strongest leaders don't bushwhack to prove they can. They read the paths laid down by those who carried weight before them, and they move with that wisdom instead of against it.
"He didn't make his own path. He followed the one the elephants already knew."

Where the Code Leads Next
The book is the front door.
It opens onto more.
Reading Nature's Leadership Code is the start of the work, not the whole of it. The same code Linal teaches on the page, he teaches in the room.
One-on-One Coaching
The lessons, applied directly to your leadership, your team, and the decision in front of you right now.
Executive Forums
Senior leaders working the code together, peer to peer, on the challenges they can't say out loud anywhere else.
Corporate Training
The framework built into how your organization develops its leaders. Not a one-off keynote, but a system.
The Uganda Leadership Tour
The expeditions themselves. Ten days in the field where these lessons were born, for leaders ready to meet the leadership gorillas in their own lives.
Start with the assessment. If the Code lands, Linal will show you the door. You decide whether to walk through it.

- You're tired of leadership advice that sounds like a TED Talk and feels like nothing
- You believe wisdom can come from places other than business schools
- You're ready to discover your instinctive leadership archetype
This is not for someone looking for a quick hack or a magic pill. The animals don't deal in hacks. Neither does Linal.
